We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer with experience in the electrical transformers field to join our growing team in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities efficiently.
• Develop and maintain a vendor database for transformer components (tanks, radiators, bushings, tap changers, and accessories).
• Handle supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement cost optimization strategies.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, QA/QC, Stores, and Logistics teams regarding material specifications and delivery follow-ups.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality compliance and on-time delivery.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and ISO standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the electrical transformers field.
• Age : 25 – 45
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical transformer materials and components.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle urgent procurement requirements efficiently.
• Knowledge of local and international sourcing.
